Set of 5 Leather-Bound "The Dramatic Works of William Shakspeare" Books with Plates from the 1850s
With lovely patina and impressive age, our set of 5 leather-bound "The Dramatic Works of William Shakspeare" books with plates from the 1850s adds instant soul and character to your home. We love these proudly displayed on a library shelf, stacked upon a scholar's desk or as a thoughtful gift for any book lover.
As shown in photos, there is heavy age-appropriate wear to these books. Wear includes but is not limited to some loose pages, yellowing of pages, wear to the leather including smalls spots of removal on the tops of all covers, one book's spine is taped on and another book's spine is loose. While there is heavier wear and these should be handled delicately, you are still able to flip through the pages to enjoy the plates and literature.
Please note that due the fragile nature of the leather, some small pieces of leather may flake off inside of the secure packaging wrap if these are shipped. This would be considered normal for the age, condition and wear of these books. As always, we will take great care when packaging, wrapping each book individually and as securely as possible for shipping.
